Eastbourne House is situated on Trinity Street, the A159, close to the A631 junction where you will find a new roundabout which is not shown on most maps. When traveling south on Trinity Street it is the last house on the left. If traveling north it is, of course, the first house on the right.
Parking is permitted on Trinity Street between the hours of 7:30pm to 8:30am. However parking enforcement is very lax. Parking is also possible on Prospect Terrace to the rear of the house where you will find a passageway next to our green garage door. Please avoid parking on Marlborough Street if possible. If you are concerned about the security of your vehicle you may use our garage if not already pre-booked. Vehicles up to 7'10" high may be accommodated.
We require notice for check in prior to 4pm or after 10pm. We do our best to accommodate early arrivals but cannot guarantee your room will be ready before 2pm.
A cooked breakfast is served from 7:00am to 8.30 am weekdays and from 8.00am to 9.30am Saturday and Sunday. A light breakfast of cereals, fruit, toast etc may still be available for late risers.

Our policy is to ask you to vacate your room by 10am. However we can be flexible if you have had a late night and we know that our next guests are not arriving until much later in the day.
We accept most credit or debit cards, cash or cheque with a valid guarantee card. Payment can be made on arrival or departure. Sorry but we no longer accept American Express.

Sorry but we have a no smoking policy. You may smoke in the garden.
Children of all ages are welcome. We can provide a cot and a highchair free of charge. For children up to the age of 12 we can provide a "Z bed"; there is an additional charge of £10.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but at no time should be left alone in the room. A refundable deposit of £100 is required to cover any repairs or cleaning costs.

Do you require a deposit and do you have a cancellation policy ?
If you wish to book a room for just one night we are happy to reserve a room with no deposit required and no cancellation penalty. We only ask that if you do need to cancel then you inform us as soon as possible. If you would like to book for a longer period or multiple rooms then we suggest you use our secure on-line booking facility to provide your credit card details. Alternatively you may call us with your card details. We shall charge a deposit equivalent to the cost of one night's accommodation. If you need to cancel your booking then your deposit will be refunded in full providing you have given us notice of at least 48 hours.
If you give us no notice of cancellation we may at our discretion charge up to the full amount of the booking.
Eastbourne House is on a main road. Are your rooms quiet ?
Eastbourne House is double glazed and consequently few people should be troubled by traffic noise when windows are closed. If you are a light sleeper and prefer to sleep with open windows then we recommend either of our twin rooms which are at the rear of the house and are very quiet.
Sorry, we are not able to accommodate guests in wheelchairs as we have no ground floor bedrooms. If you are sometimes a little unsteady on your feet we recommend reservation of either Rose or Marshall rooms which are on the 1st floor and have grab rails in en-suite shower rooms. We also recommend these rooms for the hard of hearing as they are equipped with one under pillow vibrating pad which will alert you to the fire alarm.
